Accordion wordpress widget updated -download the new version now

After reading all your comments, here i have updated the plugin. 

Now the plugin has inbuild help and tips file and it is much easier to configure. You can can download the plugin from here

The biggest advantage of this plugin is that, it loads your wordpress site faster than before, it saves huge space, provides tabbed browsing inside your sidebar.

A widget which displays the output of other plugins, using the Accordion  the jQuery plugin.

  After configuring at least two plugins, it should be displayed in the sidebar you selected.

For example Alex King’s Popularity Contest plugin, in the function tab you need put this command “akpc_most_popular();” that in the normal php function you remove that is all. if you are using brians latest comments you in the function coloumn you need put get_recent_comments(); here again please note, you should not use .similarly for recent post you use c2c_get_recent_posts(10); that is all. If you are using php functions with <php and ?> this you will get parse error.

    I get an error…

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /wp-content/plugins/accordion/accordion.php(64) : eval()’d code on line 1

    Is this a theme problem?

    hi, very nice plugin,

    I’m having a HARD time figuring out what your plugin does cos it certainly doesn’t add any cool ajax effects to my navigation and given its name I’m assuming thats its purpose. Call the functions works fine but nothing else works do I have to edit my header to call jquery or is that not done by your plugin please for the love of the almighty tell me its 3 am and I’m dying in front of this computer

    Jamie, The plugin does exact what it does in my site here. It bring tabbed browing for upto 6 different wordpress plugin in your sidebar, either the tabbed browsing, if you choose “TAB” in the widget type filed, when you configure this plugin, under the presenation tab, and widgets.Try in your site and let me know.

    Is there any way to use this to pull in thumbnails/images of a post. For example, using in conjunction with “Post-thumb Revisited” Plugin-That auto generates a thumb by scanning a post for an image? Is there a specific function i can use?

    The sixth tab (plugin) of accordion never shows up. I have tried what you said for the width of the sidebar. It doesnt work. I really need the sixth place to show up. Any tips.

    By the way, thx for this great plugin.

    p.s.: I cant figure out how to make the jquery work. At this time i use the tab function but i would so much like the accordion function to work. I have nextgen galley installed as well. I saw your tip for redirecting the jquery.js from nextgen plugin to the jquery of “accordion”. I tried but I just cant make it work.

    Now the only question is how do I add two of these lol?

    I want to have two different sets of tabs - one at the top (already got that) and one a bit farther down.

    I was playing around with the plugin and managed to enter some wrong string (copy/paste prob) and now it is giving errors in the widget section. How do I clear the saved data for this plugin and start afresh?

    Deactivating/Activating has no effect.

    Never mind I found the field under wp_options in the database. However, an uninstall option will be a great idea in case something goes wrong and one needs a fresh install of the plugin.

    Hi, is it possible to use the plug-in to pull up page parents as tabs and then their children as items inside those tabs? I am trying to build a pathology module for my dental students and this will provide the best possible navigation.

    any idea why your accordion would not work on my theme? i’m getting the unordered list from the wp function, no problem. just not animation, no ajax, no accordion.

    Some requests:

    (1) Styling for title
    (2) Ability to insert in theme files

    If you look at my website, I have your plugin on the right sidebar. I want to place it in the middle column, but it doesn’t work there. I had to hardcode most of the middle column in the theme files.

    Also, can there be several tabbed widgets on a page?
