Here is our yet another plugin for wordpress. This wordpress widget Livewords, is developed based on, Livewords in Yahoo messenger, and Greasemonkey's user script for Firefox called Lookup

If you wanted to know what is this plugin exactly does, simply select any word in this blog with mouse,  you would should see the unobrussive popover box with list of dictionary link, just clck on them which fetches the words meanings from respective dictionary, without going away from the current blog page using yahoo UI. This widget is released under GNU GPL.

You can download this wordpress plugin from here.

Installation as usual very simple. Once downloaded the zip file and unzip and copy the folder Meyshanlookup into your plugin directory and active the plugin. Through admin go to option page, choose the button and the location you wanted to dispaly so that, your user can understand that your blog is powered by Livewords and use this plugin, that is it.

    Hi,

Thank you for the wonderful plugin!

BTW, I noticed the CSS was not applied and I think it is a little bug here:

    meyshanlookup.php l.22
    /wp-content/plugins/meyshan-search-king/styles.css
    →/wp-content/plugins/meyshanlookup/styles.css

    Thanks again for the plugin!

Is it possible to make the widget support to other languages when the page is translated?

People love stories and especially stories which they can relate to. I found that if you can provide a rags-to-riches story or some other success story, people will relate to it. It builds trust.

LiveWords is kind of cool, but it reminds me of blogs that do something similar with advertising – when every word is underlined and it links to an advert. It would make sense to use LiveWords when you need to have a quick definition or something like that (but that’s only in few situations anyway). Otherwise, having all those adverts on a blog post is nothing short of irritating to me. I don’t like them, and wouldn’t use it on my blog or site.

Voice over IP (VoIP) software is used to conduct telephone-like voice conversations across the internet. There are many free VOIP Software available on the webs for download. VOIP Software is popular because VOIP phone service is often cheaper than traditional phone service, and is becoming more popular for both business and personal calls.
