   Does this allow me to sort all the images in a set before display? I’d like to be able to sort them all by title (400+ pictures in a set).

   Dear Mark, yes ofcourse it does set that. You can do the set you wanted to be displayed in the respective album itself such as Riya, picasa, and flickr

   i got two question.) does this script allow me to chose the background color and put on each photo on the slideshow some text as photo’s description?

   yes the script does you allow you to put the description, on mouse over of photos, but you must ensure put all the description right there in the flickr, riya, or picasa album. Secondly, i have attached in the new pack fla file, so you can change teh color, you can see the demo here http://www.spicyexpress.net/meyshanslide/ regards daya

   Hy, can anymore say me how I must configure the MeyshanSlide with my account on flickr?
   I read the readme.txt included in the folder, and I realised that I must edit the file flickrssp.php, but I can not understand how to set up this file. Someone could send me her to see it as well?

    hi everybody,
    i don’t understand why my slideshow doesn’t work.
    actually it’s like if the xml doesn’t exist.
    i must reload the xml everyday if i want to see the menu!!!!
    i use this slideshow to load pictures on a file which is on my FTP and not on site like flickr, riya, or picasa.
    do you think that the mater comes from there???
    thanks a lot for your answers.

    P.S: excuse my bad english but i’m french ^^

    please read the instruction in the text file clearly. the slide show to work properly the xml file to be made writable, i mean chmod xml file right click on file -> file attribute and then enter 777 hope this works, else let me know

    i see on forum that it’s impossible on free FTP and i don’t know if a file php can solve the problem

    do you have ftp access to your website, if yes, i guess, you must be using ftp client such as file zilla to upload files to your server. just write click on xml file change the attributes.

    yes i understand but it’s impossible on my FTP (free.fr). when i do right click on xml file there’s no option “attributes” Moreover i see that the xml doesn’t work every 24 hours.
    i’ve you got another solution please ??
    if you want to see clearly what is my problem create a count on my FTP and look at your slideshow every 24h …it’s here :

    yeah !!!!
    i have found the attributes!!!!
    but when i write 777 it don’t want to memory it there’s is always write 644 and i can’t change it.
    so there’s no solution and i think i will have to buy the slideshowpro (stange there is no problem with there demo version).
    i wait your coment if you have THE solution and i will decide after ^^

    oh my god, MeyshanSlide is a mashup where in you can display photo from Flickr, Picasa and Riya, But, if you are unable to chmod the xml file to 777 and wanted to buy slidepro, please try this link http://www.sweeting.net/ i guess you can get it for Us$2. But, my advice for you to move to host, instead of free host, where in you can get all the features. Try Dreamhost the best host in the world, which give you 5GB for just us$ 5 or less than us$5. all the best. regards daya

    yes but I think the chmod has nothing to do with my problem because the demo slideshowpro is also in 644 and it works very well.
    There is thus a true bug every 24 hours with this version…what a pity!

    The first screen is the first picture of the first album.

    How can I change the first screen to be the screen where you can select the Album.

    I am using picasa and I changed the following settings in flickrssp.php:

    $flickrssp_config['service'] = ‘picasa’;

    $flickrssp_config['picasa_username'] = ‘myusername’

    I uploaded all the files to my ftp (Microsoft FTP Server), the index.html shows but no photo is displayed. Just wondering if I have missed anything …

    you need to chmod the folder cache to 777. This can be done using FTP clients like FTP Commander and SSH Secure File Transfer Client, if you are on a shared host, approach your host.

    HOW about a multi-user photo album slideshow, that allows multiple users to have their own folders which contain albums and sub-albums???

    I can’t find anything like this (above paragraph), does anyone know a multi-user photo gallery and slideshow integrated???
